Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health

Developed by CMHA BC Division, Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health is an evidence-based self-help program for people experiencing low mood, mild-to-moderate depression or stress, with or without anxiety.

Since 2008, the program has helped over 25,000 individuals through telephone coaching and distributed over 120,000 skill-building DVDs to help people recognize and deal with symptoms of depression.

The Bounce Back program is currently offered by CMHA Manitoba and Winnipeg, the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (available to select health care providers), and by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority in select clinics.

About Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health

This free DVD provides practical tips on how to recognize and deal with depressive symptoms. Watch a clip here.

Trained Bounce Back community coaches assist in the teaching of problem-solving and other skills to overcome difficulties such as inactivity, unhelpful thinking, worry, and avoidance.  As the participants progress through workbooks, telephone coaching provides additional support and help keep participants on track. Access to the coaching component requires a doctor’s referral.
